AirSculpt® + | Stubborn Removal Fat and Skin Tightening

Any area you can treat with an AirSculpt® fat removal or transfer can be tightened with Renuvion (essentially anywhere from chin to ankle).

Patients who have had concerns about loose skin in addition to excess fat are ideal candidates for this procedure. Mothers looking for a less invasive alternative to a tummy tuck are some of the most common patients, as well as those looking to remove submental fat and tighten the neck’s skin without a lift. Finally, those who have large quantities of fat removed often naturally end up with sagging skin. Hence, these patients also qualify as good candidates for skin tightening with Renuvion.

The price of AirSculpt® + will vary depending on the treated area and will be an additional cost on top of the AirSculpt® fat removal or transfer procedure.

Most patients can return to work within one day, but you should avoid exercise and strenuous activity for roughly two weeks. Expect your surgeon to provide additional instructions personalized to your specific requirements. Recovery will be the same as typical AirSculpt®, with the caveat being that skin will progressively get tighter as new collagen is produced. 

AirSculpt alone always leaves the skin tighter, as the device used to remove fat helps create collagen fibers underneath the skin on a molecular level. More specifically, the mechanical speed at which the AirSculpt cannula operates generates frictional heating that produces collagen. 

AirSculpt+ provides a more dramatic degree of skin tightening by instantly helping the treated area's skin contract to its newly slimmed shape with Renuvion®. This method provides a dramatic yet delicate effect on tissue by sending pulses into the skin, resulting in soft tissue contraction that surgeons often notice right away. Although results are instantaneously observable, patients enjoy continual improvements over the following six to nine months as the body heals and produces new collagen. 

Skin Tightening by AirSculpt is our standalone Renuvion® treatment, which involves no fat removal. This option is available for patients with laxity concerns but with minimal stubborn fat. We also offer the Tiny Tuck™, our version of a mini tummy tuck that tightens lower abdominal skin without drains or general anesthesia.
